Summer Day Camp Expenses

summer day camp expenses

If you’re sending your children to summer day camp this year, the cost may help you qualify for a tax credit on next year’s tax return.

Summer day camp expenses count toward helping you qualify for the Child & Dependent Care Credit. (Overnight camps do not.)

Even if you pay someone to watch your children at home, you may still qualify for a credit of up to 35% of what you pay.

To learn more about the Child & Dependent Care Credit and to find out if you qualify, go to IRS.gov.
