Using Proxies in Co-op/Condo Board Elections

A proxy is a document that is given by one person to another person so that they have the opportunity to vote at a meeting where they are unable to attend. The proxy names the person the missing attendee wishes to attend or vote on their behalf.

A proxy can give specific directions, or can allow the replacement to vote on every item on the meeting agenda.

The most recent proxy issued is considered the only valid one.
